The Way Home

When you are essentially on holidays for a year, it’s easy to slip into the “holiday” lifestyle. Beer, wine and cheese platters become the norm and after 8 months we are starting to feel the effects of drinking and celebrating everyday, so comes the beginning of October, we thought we’d give a nod to Ocsober and stop drinking at least a couple of nights a week. Our run so far is 3 dry nights, and now we’ve decided to throw some exercise in the mix. For the past 3 weeks, we’ve been training most days. Feels good. Apart from the fact that I can’t move. Hurts. So. Much. Lets just say I’m keeping my pain under wraps as the “friendly” competition is about to get fierce…
