Congo Camp Ground – Eurobodella National Park – NSW South Coast

January 12, 2016Leave a commenton the road

Looking forward to some chilled beach time time, and to prevent our livers going into complete meltdown from Goulburn’s endless wine glass top ups, we found a stunning beach where we camped right on the river outlet. Ashton and Sean managed a couple of surfs, needless to say in Ashton’s opinion surf was epic and breezy afternoons gave us perfect conditions for kite flying. I also got in my first beach run for months after a dodgy ankle injury…took me days to walk normally again!

Congo in Eurobodella NP is a fantastic smaller campground (especially when you score the last camp spot next to the water) with a couple of beach and river options. Good surfing and fishing both beach and estuary. Great start to our epic year ahead!
